RARE FIBROUS NATURE - The KUFA Project
RARE FIBROUS NATURE is a collection of life-at-home products, locally produced by craftsmen and women
in the region of the Guiana Shield, South America.
They are made from natural sustainable and renewable forest materials like grass, nibbi and Kufa
(a nomadic aerial root fiber - Clusia grandifiora). The Kufa is a non-timber forest product (NTFP)
that grows and climbs on hosting trees, harvested by indigenous communities in the rainforest interior.

The design language is a fusion of Caribbean ambiance and color, and the simplistic functionality
and clarity of Swedish design aesthetics.
